i had no idea what 2010 would hold and to be honest i'm glad because it was meant to be lived and sometimes i realize that if i know about things in advance i don't enjoy them in the same way.
this year i was healed from a tumor growing in my appendix, graduated with my masters in counseling, started a Ph.D. program, became an aunt, traveled to haiti, traveled to south carolina and virginia, started a new job and quit that job, started a different new job, had plastic surgery on the scar on my neck, got a new car, laughed a lot, cooked a lot of roll call meals, moved into a new house, and laughed some more.
when i think ahead to 2011, i honestly get so excited about it and the joy that will get to be lived. my cup overflows and i am so grateful for all that was, all that is, and all that will be. i am immensely thankful that through my doubts, questions, fears, and sin He didn't delay and He wasn't frustrated. His gentleness was a constant companion and His goodness has changed me.
oh-ten, you've been good, but oh-eleven i'm excited to see you.
