a few summers ago i met this precious gal at k-west.

little did i know how intertwined our worlds would be four years later. but i love that God made us friends. courtney loves life and people. she is wise beyond her years.
we get to hang out weekly or as close to weekly as our crazy schedules will allow. we talk about Jesus, school, boys, process, brokenness, and we laugh a lot.
in hanging out i've realized how important it is to be authentic with our friends. there is something about finding community in a coffee shop that makes me grateful and teaches me that love always...
trust, always protects, always hopes...
and friends like this are like ironing sharpening iron. sparks fly, it can be a little messy, but what is produced is sharper and purer and it leaves us a little more able to tackle the world.

i love those friendships through which we can help each other to grow as people and as followers of Jesus. they're such blessings!
