meet concilla.

tonight i thought about this precious little girl. 

she lives in zambia & i miss her. 

she changed my life last summer. 

this girl LOVES to dance & she might be one of the best dancers i've ever seen. 

she LOVES to laugh. 

she LOVES to play. 

she LOVES her friends. 

she LOVES to give hugs. 

she was told that the Lord is her shepherd. 

and she believed it. 

because she believed it, she told everyone else that she knew. 

she loved well, maybe a lot of 5 year olds love without conditions, but none quite like concilla. 

i had the opportunity to spend a week with her and now i get to sponsor her & pray that she grows to love Jesus more and more. 

she changed my life because she lives in a way that we all should. 

may today, we all...

dance a little more, laugh a little louder, play a little harder, and love our friends deeper. 

the Lord is our shepherd, he gives us everything we need and that should make all of the above a little easier to do. 

a sweet & crazy little 5 year old showed me a better way to live.  

and today it brought a smile to my face & conviction to my heart to remember what i learned from her. my heart is grateful to a Jesus who loves us & teaches us through one another, be it a 5 year old, an 80 year old, a new friend, or your best friend. may we learn to love & be loved well.
