orphans.

"orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. they are easier to ignore before you see their faces. it is easier to pretend they're not real before you hold them in your arms, but once you do everything changes." -platt

i called them...

ruthie and concilla

richard.

angela.

and He calls them, "mine"

orphan care has become a huge passion of mine because of the relentless pursuit of my heavenly father in my life. if you are able to make it to ICorphan this weekend in NWA please come. i would love to grab coffee with you and talk about how we wrestle with such a huge crisis that invades our world. as we learn more about how to care for them, we'll be reminded of how deep His love is for us...the once orphaned.

let's learn from Him and from one another and from these precious faces.
