mama said there'd be days like this

so i'm not actually sure who that mama is that said there would be days like this, but i think we all know what she meant. whoever said it and whatever she meant, i get it today.

you know those days that you wish you could get a redo button or those days that nothing goes right, like a cosmic joke is going on around you.

well, welcome to my day.

but before everyone completely thinks i'm a debbie downer i found the silver lining in a cup of yogurt from orange mango, some laughs with my brothers and friends, and a reminder of how i serve a God who relentlessly pursues and loves us.

days like this don't phase a God who is in my yesterdays and my tomorrows. and for that and the grace of frozen yogurt i am thankful.
