the movie ends with this quote:
"that's what momma always says. she says that beginnings are scary, endings are usually sad, but it's the middle that counts the most. try to remember that when you find yourself at a new beginning. just give hope a chance to float up, and it will too..." -birdee pruitt
so much is different in my life, so many new things. so many beginnings. with the start of each new thing is the opportunity to hope in something or Someone. but i'll agree with birdee, most beginnings are scary. i'm not good at new because i'm a girl that likes to know the whole story before it starts. i've even been known to read the last chapter of a book to make sure that the ending makes it worth reading. but new things in life don't come with that luxury.
so this time before my new beginnings turn into my middle i am going to hope. my hope will be in Him and what He wants to do in this new job, new house with new roommates, and new school. i will trust the God of HOPE to fill me and you with all joy and peace so that we may overflow with HOPE by the power of the Holy Spirit. i want hope to float in my life, for it to be the thing that rises up when everything else might feel a little like chaos. if sandra bullock can trust that hope floats surely i can too :)
p.s. amanda if you're reading this, we are required to watch it together again asap!
