meet nathan.

he is 30 today. 3-0, i can hardly believe it. actually i can't believe it.

my oldest brother is officially old :)

i know many of you over 30 might be reading this and i know 30 will be here before i know it, but it just seems like the number that wouldn't ever happen to us. but life does that you know? it just happens: days, months, years, and before you know it, you're 30.

a little dramatic? maybe.

but today we celebrate nathan and celebrate we should because he is one heck of a good guy. nathan, also named peepaw, is hilarious, loyal, and kind. he is the brother that i can argue with the most, but never once do i question his love or concern for me. he's a good big brother in that way. peepaw just married amy almost 6 months ago and she makes him better. with his marriage, he gave me a sister so i really love him for that.

though there are countless hilarious stories i could share or nice things i could say, i'll spare the blog world too many details. however, i will say that nathan makes life a little more fun and i hope he has 300 more birthdays to celebrate.

thanks nathan for being a great older brother and for choosing to be my friend. being your sister is one of the greatest honors of my life. just please, whatever you do, don't start acting too old. i won't be able to handle it. welcome to your 30's. at least you're married and you still have your hair!
