february is for lack of a better word, lame. it is 28 (sometimes 29) long, dreary days split by a holiday that i think even when i have a boyfriend i will still despise. it's just a month that is not my favorite. as it turns out it's not my best friend's favorite nor her roommate, abby's...so i'm in good company. before you quit reading and write me off as a sassygirlwhocomplainstoomuch, i would like to introduce the blog world to what meg & i accurately describe as the "fab feb emails."
it began in february of 2009.
side note: to be honest, we reviewed the fab feb email from last year and as it turns out several of the things that were fabulous then are not so fabulous now. such is life. i digress.
it began in february of 2009 & we will trudge again through the project starting on monday. all you need is a friend or two who will invite you into their february. you begin an email titled "fab feb" and you email one another at least one thing a day that is fabulous. it doesn't have to be life changing news, it's about finding the good in the dreary. sometimes it's funny. sometimes it's precious. sometimes it's extremely difficult, but it's about looking at what seems, cold, bare, and burdensome & finding the joy in it.
because it is not always easy sarcasm is allowed when needed. join us & seek out the fabulous things that the not so fabulous month of february will have.
maybe you think this is fantastic or freakin' ridiculous?
maybe both, but join in & maybe february will be the best month yet and if it isn't at least your inbox will be full :)
