something beautiful.

this week has been full of simplicity & chaos.
brokenness and utter joy.
frustration and gratitude.
fear and trust.

at some point i hope to find the words to articulate what this week has meant to me, but today i don't have them for myself nor for the blog. however, i do have a heart of gratitude that will never leave me. a few years ago i thought God was faithful, but now i know.

from the depths of my soul i am learning anew His character. goodness, faithfulness, love, justice, and so on & so forth. i am learning what i am not in light of who He is and that brings me a deep realization of just how good He is.

on a less serious note, i don't have an appendix anymore & i watched 17 movies over the weekend. those are both good things and have contributed to the lessons i am learning. paul blart, the mall cop, is a pretty stellar segway driver & keri russell is my new favorite actress. my friends and family are the best. movies never get old, but eating jello does.

the reality of the last week has convinced me that sometimes the most unexpected blessings and lessons come out of what feels like chaos, it is my guess that this is what sara groves was talking about when she said,

"protest the chaos with something beautiful"
