ice, ice, baby.
unfortunately i'm not referring to vanilla's long awaited return. i have lived through ice storm 2009, creatively titled, by our local news station.

apparently a storm like this occurs once every 50 years. i have never seen anything like it. if you've seen the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe where narnia is frozen over it's similar to that. except, i don't have an awesome british accent nor did i get to travel through a wardrobe to get there.

we were fortunate to have power for the past few days with the exception of a few hours here & there on tuesday. because we had power, we hosted many a people. offering a shower, movies constantly playing, and some delicious food. it was fun despite the frightful weather outside.

a little homework, a lot of tv, fun friends both new & old, and a lot of sleep = ice storm 2009.
now let the melting begin.
