rain

today, i awoke to rain. it was peaceful. however, i did joke that maybe we should go build an ark. don’t worry, i know that God is faithful to His promises and that would never be necessary, but a girl needs to joke every once in awhile. 

through a friend’s blog, i ran across the link to a beautiful testimony of what Jesus does in the midst of those days or years when it seems as if  the rain will never stop. she properly titled her story, Bring the Rain, if you have a few hours, i urge you to sit and read through it. you will not be sorry and in fact you will be blessed. i cried because of the pain she has endured, but also because of her faithfulness. I want to trust Jesus like she does.
