today is margaret's birthday. she is my best friend for so many reasons, all of which i am eternally grateful for. she is the friend that taught me what it means to enter into the mess of life while laughing and crying. she doesn't shy away from the hard things in life and she might be the only human that can match me when it comes to volume of laughter. because she has experienced both immense loss and immense joy in her life she has learned how to truly live. she relentlessly pursues Jesus and loves people well. she is the friend that never lets go.
meg, i am grateful that you've taught me that He also will never let go. His faithfulness is written all over your life and i love the story He is writing in you. thanks for teaching us by the way you live.
