something you should know about me.

in the blog world & the real world too we all seek to know people.

i am known to begin a sentence with, "something you should know about me is..."
some people may not want to know what follows, others do. it's a roll of the dice everytime.

this blog has become a place where i come to write and i thought i would do a "something you should know about me post" for those of you who read who don't know me and maybe for those of you i do know. this way, you can keep reading if you want or you can run for the hills. either way you'll be educated and that's important.

1. i wanted to star in the boardway musical, Annie, when i was a child. i had an irrational love for that orphan, but it was a hard knock life for yours truly and that dream had to die.
2. two movies that i have spent countless hours of my life watching & will never get tired of: father of the bride & home alone.
3. i sing whitney houston songs in my car on a very regular basis. i sing loudly.
4. my brothers are the greatest & funniest humans on the planet.
5. k-life was my sorority in college. we had weekly meetings & a t-shirt for every occasion.
6. the series finale of boy meets world made me cry harder than any television show ever. greys anatomy has come in at a close second on multiple times, but there may never be anything that beats the goodbye of cory & topanga.
7. i didn't know unicorns weren't real until i was a junior in college.
8. i can snap, but not like the rest of the human population. some think its more like flipping quarters, but it works for me.
9. i irrationally love chocolate chip cookies & in turn cookie dough.
10. i laugh all the time and my brothers often request that i use my inside laugh. there.is.no.such.thing.
11. being a wife & mom is my greatest dream. it's what i've always said i wanted to be when i grew up.
12. i drink enough diet coke to keep the coke company in business. that is not an exaggeration.
13. i was elected most likely to be a preacher's wife in high school. lame?
14. i have never gotten a speeding ticket though i have been pulled over countless times. i cry and it works.
15. my brothers told me i came from gypsys. i believed them several different times.
16. i love people.
17. jesus has my heart.
18. i've wanted a sister my entire life.
19. i turn 25 in 5 weeks. i am not looking forward to it.
20. i make up lyrics for songs while singing, it works unless someone over hears me.
