meet bre.

bre is hilarious. i use that word a lot, but really bre sets the standard of what hilarious actually means; everything else falls short. 

today is her birthday & she's at kamp, but that's okay because kamp made us friends. 

2 years ago, i was supposed to arrive at k-west a day before clinics, but life happened and i didn't actually arrive until the first day of clinics. kamp life had become so normal for me & i was excited about another summer especially since a huge life change of starting grad school was a mere 3 months away. but i always took for granted that the Lord would bring new friends into my life. it happened every summer, i just would somehow forget to expect it. i digress. 

i finally made it lampe & found out that i would be the shepherd for KOMO 8 during work week. i already had the list of the girls that would be in my kabin, but just didn't know them yet. on that list was breanna. we became friends over a broken drill & our irrational love for sarcasm. our friendship just began overnight and i'm thankful to say she'll be my friend for life. she gets life and she chooses joy everyday. she loves tube socks and her wardrobe exemplifies that she is actually stuck in the early nineties. in case you think i'm being harsh, i'm not. she would say it herself. we share a love for michael w. smith & narnia. we can carry on conversations speaking only in lyrics and quotes. it's funny, maybe only to us, but it's funny nonetheless. 

bre, i am so glad you were born! we should have more than one day to celebrate you!
