goodness.

one of my favorite questions to ask people is , "what is your favorite characteristic about God?" it tells me a lot; it often challenges me and encourages me, but i learn a lot about people's perceptions of God. it's fun to also ask again & again because i think it changes for all of us at different times. however, though our favorites might change, i am so thankful that he doesn't. 

sovereign, faithful, good, and steadfast are my favorite.

sometimes i forget those things though. 

life happens. brokenness happens. but he is good, so good actually and he never fails. 

today i needed the reminder & maybe you do too. 

my friend, emmy, is a musical prodigy and in turn has flawless taste in music. she sent me a cd with this song on it. the lyrics are true, the music is beautiful, and the Lord used it today to remind me of his goodness. 

he works all things together for my good. and yours too.
