it was a beautiful september day full of a ton of my favorite people and i had a front row seat to seeing my best friend commit to the Lord and to her man to put the other first and be in a covenant until forever. it was a sweet 30 minutes and a glimpse into the gospel that i've never seen that closely. He chose her and she chose Him. the bride. the groom.
...And they promised to keep choosing one another every day after that.
i decided that day that for as long as i live that i will continue to pray, encourage, and love meg and allen. they are Kingdom people and a ton of fun so really it is a win/win.
to allen and meg,
thanks for letting me be a part of your day. it was a joy and honor. hope y'all find a fun way to celebrate your first month of marriage and i hope in 40 years you're still celebrating each month. yes, allen you might need a bigger flower budget :)
to the rest of you,
i pray you each have some friends that you can encourage in marriage and love with your whole heart. friendship is a good thing. the best, actually.
