she is 22 today & we are all so thankful for a day to celebrate her because her life is worth celebrating. i have known of and about her for years, but haven't been friends with her until last year. a year ago emmy sent me a facebook message that started with "this message may be the most random thing ever, but i'm okay with that" and with those words one of my favorite friendships was born.
emmy & i don't get to spend tons of time together and she isn't a huge fan of the phone, but it doesn't matter because the depth of our friendship surpasses both of those things. emmy is real & genuine. she doesn't shy away from the awkward moments that life can bring. she digs in deep. she loves well and Jesus has her heart.
emmy & i hung out in LA this summer and it was there that i knew we'd be sisterfriends for life. she will be moving to nashville in a few months & i will so dearly miss having her around the corner, but i love the story that He is writing for her & the joy of getting to be a part of it.
