the day i lost my wallet

life is busy.

finals are here. christmas parties galore. christmas shopping. returning to normal life after a fun trip to NYC which deserves a post in and of itself, but i don't have time right now.

however, i would like to take a moment to thank a woman who found my wallet in the hobby lobby parking lot & turned it in. 30 minutes of my evening was spent frantically searching my car, my room, calling walgreens (the last place i used my wallet) and praying that somehow it would show up. i returned to where i found out it was missing (hobby lobby) to discover that it had been turned in & everything was still there.

it's not that i'm a millionaire & have lots of cash on me; actually the opposite could be true. however, it is my wallet with lots of personal, identifying information. it could have gone bad for me quickly, but somewhere, out there is a woman who was kind of enough to find it and turn it in. how it got into the parking lot is a mystery. i guess the best guess is that it hopped out of my purse onto the ground.

i am so thankful to this woman. so if you're out there & you just happen to come across my blog please know you saved my day...

you know, the day i lost my wallet.

p.s. MVP goes to my brother, b.hill, who continuously is a voice of reason in my life. he just happened to call in the midst of my search. if i didn't have the brothers that i do i would be lost. seriously.
