and so another month ends in a few minutes, but oh how much i LOVE november 1st. my ipod begins playing christmas music & really all things christmas become fair game. it is the most wonderful time of year; they weren't kidding.
last night i went to the david crowder concert. it was great, better than expected.
today i worked on some writing that is past due & is almost finished; words cannot express how thankful i am for this fact. i hung out with some friends and passed out candy to lil' trick or treaters.
the week ahead is jammed packed full of obligations and requirements, but i would really just like to sit around listening to christmas music and spend time with friends because the latter is something that i haven't gotten to do enough. but i'll be thankful for this season of life, knowing that it is ultimately good & producing something (though i don't know what)
gratitude is the national theme of november.
so in the midst of a new month, lots of obligations, not enough time with friends, glimpses of joy in the dailies i will find the gratitude...
"a thankful heart prepares the way for you, my God, a thankful heart will be our rhythm, a thankful heart will be our song..."-waterdeep
let's be a grateful people.
bring it november!
