what is good.

i used to resent the people in my life who would tell me that "life goes by too fast", "life flies by", "better enjoy high school, it will be over before you know it", and so on so forth.

today, i apologize to all of you who i secretly resented because you were right.

life flies by. really it does.

with each day, i have a deeper love and gratitude for my friends, family, and Jesus who was the giver of all of these. this weekend was another celebration of Jesus and what he did for you & me. it's good to reminded that because of his wounds we are healed. it is good to spend time with my hilarious brothers who can single-handedly start a dance party after easter lunch. in the hustle & bustle of life (yes, i did just use that cliche') it's so easy to get overwhelmed, frustrated, and exhausted. but life goes by too fast to stay that way. even in the midst of all that life can bring it is good. Jesus is good. friends are good. family is good.

"let LOVE be genuine. hate what is evil; CLING to what is good. love one another with brotherly affection. outdo one another in showing honor. do not be lacking in zeal, but fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality".-romans 12:9-13
